How To Find Something To Sell
This video is 30-something minutes long so give it a sec to load.
Here’s the quick rundown of the double-pitch at the end:
Pitch 1. (Never mind pitch one. The offer is closed
Pitch 2. I’ll be doing a laid back “under the radar” reopening of Mass Control 2.0. in a few days.
I have like 230 or so copies (unopened and never used) that I’ve been saving for use in various marketing tests and what-not. So this time I’ll be testing what happens when you do a super laid back, non-launch style promotion.
I’ll also be testing a 7-pay payment plan so this time you can get it for 7 payments of $297. (Sweet!)
AND, I’ll be donating 100% of your first month’s payment to the Angela Shelton foundation, which helps battered women and victims of abuse.
Now get back to watching the video. If you wanna know how to find something to sell, it’ll help you.

Dude, excellent content. So many people struggle with finding something to sell they never get off the ground. Once you find something you can start working on your marketing, and that’s where the fun really begins!
Awesome.

Too bad Jeff & I already have Mass Control 2.0, I love that you are donating part of this launch to a battered women’s shelter… you rock!
We’ve devoured MC2.0 and the mass control monthly content… actually we just came back from the shooting range filming video for a launch we are doing soon. First time I’ve shot a gun, it was fun & scary all at once. We decided to take your advice about “bouncing” in your videos.
Thanks as always for the great videos!

Frank,
If every person who ever wanted to make money online but never did just watched THIS video and applied it, they would soon be living the easy, care-free Internet Marketer Lifestyle.
AND YOU GAVE IT AWAY FOR FREE!
Man…you are sincerely generous with the “Free Line.”
I have something to say to people reading this who have never bought Mass Control…
I own Mass Control. I’m not an affiliate. If you think this free stuff Frank just gave you was awesome, your mind will be BLOWN by Mass Control.
7 Payments of $297? That’s an amazing deal. Just apply the stuff Frank GAVE you in this free video and you’ll have the tools to pay for Mass Control easily.
And for all you Conspiracy Theorists out there, NO, Frank did NOT ask me to post this. He doesn’t need any help from me to completely sell out his remaining inventory. I just wanted to help YOU with my un-compensated endorsement.

2 questions:
You talked about the % of sales brought by affiliates on Clickbank, however you didn’t mention the gravity data. Isn’t something important as well? The highest gravity product is 96.44 (Jamorama).
Do you leave the URLs of this blog by default on purpose? Since you use WordPress, if you log in your back office, General Settings>Permalinks, select Custom Structure and add this string: /%post_id%/%postname%/
You’ll have clean SEO frienly links and probably more organic traffic…
Kind Regards,
Julian

If you want to see what affiliates are promoting via ppc without costing them money when you click on their ad, I’ve heard you can right click on their ad, then open in new tab, and it doesn’t register as a click with google or yahoo so they don’t have to pay.
Good karma

That’s a great video Frank and I think it is really cool that you are donating some proceeds to such a great cause. I cannot wait until my business affords me the ability to really give back to society in a big way.
There was a point in my life when I was rich (money, family and spiritually) but I was hit with serious medical issues and the only reason I am here today is because I got into a medical trial, but because it was not approved by the Gov I had to pay for everything out of pocket which wiped out everything I ever built for myself.
Anyways besides all that history, I really think you are an extremely intelligent guy living his dream life. I have been following you since day one for me as an Internet marketer, well I haven’t really made any money over two plus years so I don’t know if I meet the requirements of a true Internet marketer.
I have a ton of knowledge, I have been successful my whole life but the one thing that kills me as an Internet Marketer is PPC. I have tried so hard to get that down but I just can’t get it. But I don’t like to use the phrase “I Can’t” I have always taught people that they can do anything they put their mind to. With that being said I continue to push forward I worked at this business at least 10 hours everyday. I know I will achieve success soon!
I still have your original INFOMILLIONAIRE interactive CDs with the NINJA CLOAKER. Is that something you would still advise using?
Anyways thanks for the info it always seems as though you are sincere in your attempts to help others and I think that is really cool.
Sincerely,
Howard
PS I wasn’t trying to be a smartass by using the name Internet Business I just came up with the idea of using that name because it becomes a keyword text link to one of my sites. I actually think it is a pretty good idea because it will help me build backlinks to my site that Google will like.

Frank you’re totally evil. I landed here to check out the new FTC info and got sucked into this evil presentation video vortex of yours. As I started down this malevolent wormhole, I intended to only half watch it for maybe a half minute (thinking it was gonna be that been-there-done-that-same-old-crap drivel that grows on the internet like mange on a dog’s butt) and instead got totally sucked into a brain expanding, ninja-guru, mind-bending, knock-your-socks-off bit of rock-my-world content. So because of you, I had to sit and watch the whole bloody video all the way to the shameless end. I hate you.

Great video Frank…but, and this is where it got strange for me.
The markets I’m in do not
1. Have products on Clickbank
2. Doesn’t buy from Clickbank.
I did the research, member of the forums my markets are in and trying to figure out how to sell to them. For example, survivalists. These are some passionate folks with money (let’s not go into why, they are) and they do buy nearly anything on the topic. Problem? How do you test with them when all you have is a small report. The moderators will hunt you down if you ‘market’ to their members direct - any ideas would help.

Hi Frank,
This video is a big help to me. I’ve read a lot from Tim Ferriss (he’s the one that turned me on to all this online stuff), Seth Godin, Paul Myers, Bob Serling, and just recently, Eben Pagan. Anyway, all the marketing information is great and it makes me excited to get something going.
However, I have no idea what to sell! The fact that you say you hadn’t even considered that before some guy told you he didn’t know what to sell either really surprises me. I think you guys give away a lot of business secrets because you all know few people will actually do anything and the ones that do will just make you look good and everyone’s businesses will grow as credibility is established.
So, my little Miami mobile massage business online can barely pay the bills even though I’m using correctly all the SEO stuff and web 2.0 marketing, etc. To have a product to sell is essential - services are very limited.
The day before I found this (via Bob Serling’s email) I was riding my bike up the beach and thinking “why don’t any of these marketing gurus teach people what to sell? Where do I buy something cheap and sell it expensive? Or, how do I bring buyers and sellers together?” These seem to me to be the biggest secrets. The psychology and time management stuff is valuable, but a lot easier to get at. “What” is the real secret and so many marketing guys take that for granted because they already know.
It’s “The What, man.”
And then you come a long with this video. I just watched and haven’t done anything yet, but now I’m really excited to get going. I already understand the value of making a Purple Cow and have learned a thing or two about how to market it better than the next guy, but I still don’t know what it will be.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! Now I know how and where to look and what to look for. And, I imagine this is just the tip of the iceberg. The marketing will come easier from that point on.
If in the 1st sales pitch that is no longer available you were selling something that is related to the “What,” why don’t you sell it again? Not everyone is aware of your every move. If by selling it again, those that use it well make you look good and those that do nothing just make you a little richer, what have you got to lose by making it available again?
Thanks for the advice!
Joe

Frank,
I’m a retired television producer who’s been doing some internet marketing for awhile. I got involved in IM because of a desire to make and sell entertainment on the net. (If you’d like to know a bit about me and my career, you can check me out on IMDb.com.)
Cut to the chase … I have a project I’m going to produce this summer and I’d love to have you involved in a ‘cameo’ role.
The show is a comedic sci-fi adventure and will have major cast members from the various Star Trek series, Hellboy, Heroes and some other films and series. (Ethan Phillips, Wil Wheaton, Armin Shimmerman, Rene Auberjonois, Robert Picardo, David Lawrence XVII, Doug Jones, Richard Hatch and more.)
My idea is to have some of the top IM folks appear in the film as a hoot (that you can use in your promotional efforts) and which will allow us to attract a large audience from the start. This project will be free on the net - as a series of cliffhanger episodes - and then available as a full length DVD … and if it works the way I envision it, it should be an internet ‘event.’
I’ve been in touch with Michael Koenigs and he seemed interested (he was off to Tahiti to see Tony Robbins at the time) but I haven’t gotten back to him. I did want to be in touch with you since you were someone I first thought of for this promotional idea (I think you have some ‘acting chops’).
So that’s my little story and I’d like to know if this party sounds like one you’d enjoy attending
If my rambling proposal piques your interest, drop me a note and I’ll be happy to chat with you on the phone.

Most people today have this really terrible habit of repelling money. And when you bring it to their attention their typical response is “no I don’t”. But their actions, life and bank account tell a different story.
In today’s economy, people claim to be fully focused on “attracting money”. They’ll provide great lip service, but they won’t do anything to attract money. Now here’s the rub.
Just as it’s written in the Bible in the book of James “Faith without works is dead”. Well, the law of attraction without ACTION is dead. Read that again. If you think you can just sit on your couch and dream about money coming into your life and then one day become rich then you’re on the wrong track my friend.
In order to attract money, you have to be engaged in activities that money is attracted to. Money is attracted to movement. And in this economy, nobody can afford to sit around and wait for things to happen.
To attract money in this recession you have to be completely focused on your goal. Let’s say for example you were just laid off your job of 12 years. Now what? You have a wife and kids to support and bills to pay. What do you do?
You cut the fat out of your life, starting with the things you once thought were necessities. Again, get rid of the fat from your life. If you can’t manage the money you do have, the universe will not give you anymore.
Movement is key. Instead of saying, “I can’t believe I lost my job. It’s not fair. It’s the economy’s fault”. Blah, blah, blah. Ask, “What can I do to overcome this adversity? What new trade can I learn how to do? Who can I meet that’ll help me achieve the goals in life I wish to achieve? How can I make money from this adversity?”
Then act! That’s your job. Stay moving, like liquid. When my business slowed down, I quickly enrolled in a new career. When I decided I didn’t like that one, I immediately learned a new trade and began a new career. And you know what? The money started coming quickly. I did not join the “whoa is me” crowd. I joined the entrepreneur crowd and quickly started a new career.
How do you attract money in a recession? Action is critical. Money loves movement. So move. Action! Nothing happens until something moves.
