Behind the curtain…
I don’t talk about this much, but I’m kind of the guy who got Mike Filsaime started.
Naturally, that’s a myth. I didn’t really DO anything.
MIKE got Mike Filsaime started. Just like YOU get yourself started.
But my stuff was what made him take action and that’s cool. (Unless you’re Mike’s CPA - who may blame me for the giant income tax bills. I still deny all responsibility.)
Now Mike’s business is on pace to do $10 million dollars in sales this year.
…And he’s gone on to help other people make money. And yes, some of them have become
millionaires too.
Not bad.
Anyway, a while back Mike and I recorded an interview where we discussed how the hell
we got started and actually “made it”.
We didn’t do this interview as part of a launch, or to sell anything …or to even promote anything. We just did it to be cool to our customers and subscribers and give good content.
The result is the recording here below. Only around 1,000 people have heard it before now …and it’s gotten great reviews.
There’s even a marketing nugget in few places as well.
I hope you enjoy it.

Hey - what a great call.
It’s amazing to hear the stories of people who are successful and how they moved from “talking & thinking” about doing to “actually DOING”.
I’m actually in the process of an event where I’m interviewing 10 self-made-millionaires (Alex Mandossian is on schedule tonight - June 4) about how they view success.
It’s called http://www.MillionairePrepSchool.com and it’s just $20 for anyone interested in eavesdropping on these interviews.

Thanks again for great content!

The “spam” problem is still prevalent, apparently. I recently got an email
and it had my clickbank username on an ad at the bottom that I have nothing to do with! In my small town of 3,000 there have been two incidences of someone using city computers’ emails to advertise! I’m not sure how this happens, but I am very leary of the internet and marketing online now. This is unfortunate, as
I have invested about two years of my time and energy into a company I do believe in, along with getting sidetracked by the many “offers” I receive each day. I am not the only one with these concerns, I’m sure, but it makes you wonder…who to trust?

Frank, your content is almost always thought provoking. I’ve seen the proof that your stuff works – especially online. However, I’ve found that your great marketing content is applicable in other niches besides online. You do great “out-of-the-box” thinking. But, for me, the value of what you do is provide the language and categories to use to be successful within “the box” – the target audience that I market to exist, thinks and makes buying decisions within “the box.” Keep the content coming!

Frank, I am intrigued by what you said about the warrior forum not wanting a link to their page.
Why on earth would they not want their site linked to??
I looked through the warrior forum faq and could not find any mention of this.
So, what’s the deal? Do I need to read through someone’s ToS down to the last detail every time I drop them a link??
This isn’t the first time I have heard of someone *not* wanting a link to their site - and I’m a little mystified. In my own blogs and writings I link to everything I think people would want to see, and I thought that’s how the web flourishes.
If anyone can shed any light on this please let me know here or alex atttttttttttt pxr8 dottttttttttttttttttcom

Hey, Frank
Great interview with Mike, you definitely are not the ordinary marketer. Maybe why I like getting your emails and watching your videos. You are always clowning around. While at the same time giving great helpful insights. Oh, by the way I want a refund on that 5 Internet Marketing Businesses In A Box! I was one of those people that bought that thing. I think you got that idea from Tom Hua. Then you disappeared for a couple of years. I even had subscribed to your Inner Circle newsletter with Yanik. It was my first internet business. Just kidding about the refund. I wondered what happened to you. Had heard the government came down on you. Glad you are back, I like your style, I am going to have to copy it into my email marketing. I usually open up your emails, without reading the subject line. I see it is from Frank Kern and open it up, just to see what it says. And to see what crazy thing you are going to say or do in your videos. Maybe I will get to see you in person, maybe even go surfing.
Oh by the way, Dude surfs up, time to caught some waves.

Hey Frank,
What you said about “Mike Filsaime got Mike Filsaime started” is ABSOLUTELY the real truth behind EVERY success story.
I learned from some people, I had a desire, I put my own spin on things and while many (far too many to mention here) helped me get to where I am today….
It was me that got me started….
The beginning for me was a burning desire to NOT have a “real job” anymore. I hated the 2x a day commute hell, I hated the office politics and I HAD to get out…
Sooooo… I started with the philosophy of Ready, Fire, Aim and WOW, I did it!
No more J.O.B.
I travel when I feel like it (in fact I am booking my next trip right now)

JUST DO IT!
